Drake Loeb PLLC is an AV-rated mid-sized law firm in the beautiful lower Hudson Valley. Our diverse practice includes estate planning, commercial development, federal and state litigation, and the representation of businesses from mom-and-pop shops to insurance carriers to global entities such as Mettler-Toledo and LEGOLAND®/Merlin Entertainments.

We are currently seeking attorneys with litigation experience to support our clients primarily in the areas of commercial litigation and insurance defense (school districts and municipalities). As a member of our team, you will independently manage a litigation caseload, handling matters from pleading stage though to settlement/trial stage, collaborate with our experienced litigation team, and perform other related duties as assigned.

We do offer the flexibility of occasional remote work for work/life balance. Base salary will be determined within the range provided commensurate with experience. Requirements

JD from an accredited Law School

Licensed to practice law in New York

Significant, recent litigation experience in New York State and Federal Courts handling court appearances, pleading and motion practice, all phases of discovery, and negotiations/settlement; trial experience is not required but preferred

Superior oral communication and negotiation skills

Excellent legal research and writing skills

Familiarity with and interest in living in the Lower Hudson Valley to maximize business development and networking
